[Sensory interactive mapping and immersive VR Experience]
Where are you?
An unusual question to ask to yourself
Concepts description & memories
After a few seconds, on the screen, the current (physical) space configuration changes to an abstract virtual one, created by the graphic representation of the real time data that is being generated. This data is shown under the perspective of “Medium”, an Artificial intelligence entity that registers the virtual space searching for the average of all generated data, resulting in a generative film which is unique at every instant. The generated data isn’t collected, making the experience unrepeatable. For those who want to experiment a sensorial, immersive, and personalized journey through the data, inside the room they’ll find a VR Head mounted device to do it.
As an abstract, real time captured data, collective representation of these data as a generative film and a virtual reality experience, make up the whole of the installation. What is measured is: speed, distance, and time. The impact in our existence has made the experience itself meaningful for many people as a personal reflexive space.
Thereby, Where are you, appeals to the continuous personal questioning of establishing points of reference that we, as individuals, allow us to challenge us to know where we stand and if we are in the place we want to be.
